Update & good news: I've finally heard back from the hotel. They have spoken to hotels.com and refunded the money. They have responded by phone and by email. I'm looking forward to giving them a second chance in the future. I reserved a room through hotels.com the day before arrival. When I showed up at 5pm to check in, everything was dark and there was only a siamese cat to welcome me. (Super social, affectionate cat. Unfortunately it looked like it had recently survived a larger animal attack and needed vet care due to infected punctures). I left, got to my friends house and began calling to find out what the check in procedures were. Nobody answered. No one responded to emails and no one has responded at all. This was 11 days ago. I've called and hotels.com has reached out .... and WE'VE gotten nothing in response. I need my money back. I fulfilled my end of the contract, Unfortunately I was never able to check in. Read the fine print with hotels.com. They say they can't refund me because they haven’t been able to confirm that I wasn't able to check in and use the reservation.

So I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Ranch house back in June, and wow. Just wow. What an absolutely stunning space inside and out. The views from the backyard are absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed a wine tasting previous to our check in, in the winery with jaw-dropping views of their vineyards. The gentleman who did our wine tasting was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made us laugh quite a bit. The house was quite large, with every room having their own bathroom and the two king size rooms are very roomy! The sofa bed in the largest king size room was also giant, we could have probably fit 3 adults on there if needed. The pool was amazing (and saltwater, so nice!) and we spent most of our days hanging out and taking in the beautiful views. The highlight of our trip was the absolute amazing private breakfast prepared for us on site. I’m not kidding, this breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had. From fresh baked bread to eggs Benedict’s with fresh local eggs. We were BLOWN AWAY!! Please do yourself a favor and book this spot. The prices are so reasonable for all that you are getting, and you will have the best time. Another thank you to the entire staff for going above and beyond for us!

My husband and I just returned from a two night stay at Bed & Barrel and it was really incredible. We are new to the California wine scene, so we love visiting all of the unique properties and sampling their delicious wines. Brittany was an incredible host and her breakfast creations were amazing. She really went out of her way to make our stay memorable and to ensure we felt welcome. Robert stayed late to finish up a wine tasting for us. His expertise was evident during the tasting and we appreciate the great experience he gave us. Overall, it was really fun staying at Bed & Barrel and we'll definitely come back (and probably bring friends with us).

The property is beautiful! I loved the scenery and nature. My room was great, clean, comfortable and had all I needed, TV, balcony, desk, bed, walking closet, spacious bathroom (with electric bidet!), hot water and more. There is a common kitchen, living room and dining room fully equipped for any meal, games or just hanging out. You can walk all over the property, through the vineyards and there is a swing with a beautiful view to the valley. Staff is the kindest, Brittany and Robert did my stay very special with all kinds of attentions with wine facts, good conversations and helpful with any questions I may have. The wine they make is delicious with many different and unique notes, perfect for an afternoon of tasting or just relaxing. The location is very convenient, far from anything to be calm and quiet but close to town and the lake to go to a restaurant or enjoy the area. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked a room and stayed here for my wife’s birthday in the summer of 2023. I can’t say enough great things about this place. From the wine to the luxuries of the rooms, the ambiance of the grounds, and the private chef-everything was perfect! The smart toilet was really cool. I wish I had one. We were the only ones staying there overnight so we had the whole place to ourselves. The private chef made us breakfast, dinner, and even a custom desert after arranging our menu ahead of time. All the food was fantastic and the wine was really good! Clearlake is a hidden gem for Cabernet lovers, something about the volcanic soils…anyways yeah this is a great place to stay of your looking for a unique private getaway.

Our recent weekend getaway was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the exceptional staff who went above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience. The secluded and serene property truly felt like our own private vineyard retreat; a haven of tranquility where we could completely disconnect and reconnect with each other. We spent a delightful afternoon enjoying a picturesque picnic lunch amidst the stunning vineyard landscape, followed by an exquisite private dinner that perfectly complemented the ambiance. And of course, let's not forget the exceptional selection of wines that added a touch of celebratory sparkle to our romantic escape. The house itself exceeded all expectations; its modern design and impeccable cleanliness contributed significantly to the overall luxurious feel. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and deeply grateful for the memories created. We wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional retreat to anyone seeking a romantic and luxurious escape.

I had the most amazing weekend stay at Bed & Barrel! We were there to celebrate a birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The accommodation was cozy, scenic, and full of thoughtful touches. We grilled BBQ, played volleyball in the pool, enjoyed board games in the winery room, and even played some frisbee outside. So much fun! A special thank you to Daniel, who gave us a wine tasting and a tour of the barrel room. He was super knowledgeable and passionate. It was such a memorable experience. Everything about our stay, the wine, the property, the warm hospitality, was top-notch. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this lovely bed/breakfast and winery with another couple in early April, soon after the last of a long, rainy season. The green, rolling hills and vineyards were beautiful and alive with new growth and wildlife. The main interior common space was unique and stunning, and where we could relax most of the day. The rooms were also very comfortable and spacious. We genuinely enjoyed the hosted wine tasting and purchased several bottles of their fine wine. The breakfasts and dinner were outstanding. Brittany is a superb chef and a welcoming host. All staff on the grounds were very nice, gregarious, and helpful. We recommend this relaxing and beautiful place.
